Avanza Healthcare Strategies is excited to announce the addition of Tommie Moore to its team.
Moore will serve as a consultant focused largely on outpatient advanced diagnostic imaging. At a time when radiology services are increasingly moving to freestanding imaging centers, her impressive knowledge and experience will be of great value to current and future Avanza clients.
Moore has worked in the field of radiologic technology as a registered radiologic technologist (RTR) for more than 27 years, during which she has served in multiple sectors, including diagnostic radiology, CT, mammography, ultrasound and special procedures. Over the past 20 years, Moore accumulated supervisory experience through managing seven radiology teams made of 23 employees at a multi-campus organization.
Moore specializes in radiation safety for staff and patients as well as practical and effective department and staffing workflow. She has experience with preparation for and participation in DNV, Joint Commission and department of health surveys. She also has experience with design and layout of equipment for imaging departments and the updating and compiling of imaging policies and procedures.
